hey it's been awhile

hey followers :]

hahahah.
i know i havent updated in forever. its ridiculous really. well since my last post i have turned 17!! i got a phone!!!
:]]]
i was super happy. It really was a great birthday. The day actually. Mansfield High School went to its first round of playoffs, and WE WON! this is a first people. so it seriously was just the best day ever. And we couldnt believe that we even won the second round! so this saturday our boys will be playing in the Texas Stadium for the third round of playoffs. it's seriously a dream. it's crazy!

also, for the people that don't know, my madre turned 50 today!
she doesn't look a day over 40 in my opinion. :] But today is the big day! and we had a surprise party planned for her this past saturday and it was a great success! Her face expressed so much joy. i now know what joy looks like :] hahaha.

my grades are really good. so much better than i expected. i overanalyze myself and don't give myself much credit, when i really should.

and next is THANKSGIVING! im so excited about this, you don't even know. a holiday about eating food! its amazing, but remember that's not the only reason. haha. giving thanks for all the things we have. we are so blessed, and we really should be giving thanks everyday.

OH and i saw the midnight showing of twilight. :] im telling you people. we were screaming when edward cullen came on the screen. it was one of the funnest midnight showings i have ever been to. Just a whole bunch of estrogen in the room. ha..is that weird to say? haha, don't repeat that.

love you guys! happy thanksgiving!

i woke up this morning angry. i really don't think i have been this angry in a long time. i sit in photography class and so tired of hearing the same old people yell OBAMA! 1)these people are black and illegal immigrants. i'm not sure if that changes your view or something, but yeah. 2)i have never heard them say one word about "their favorite candidate."

it burns me up so much that people have no idea what he's for and what he's going to do. people today are so blind. people have these stereotypes, and trust me..im not going to lie i do too. but really...here's an example that started me off this morning.

the first thing i hear when i wake up is kidd kraddick in the morning, probably my first mistake. then they were telling people to call in and say if this was the best day of their life or worst. this teenager called in and said it was the worst day of her life. she explained that her family is a "conservative republican family." and she didnt agree with his views and they were like, "what are your views?" and she replied by saying that she is against abortion and against homosexual marriage. then big al says, "rich girl." pretty sure that abortion and gay marriage have NOTHING to do with money. and im sure he has more money than her. GAH. im so done with all of this. i know i should have respect for a future president..and i do, but def. not for his views and his followers that know nothing...like the ones i go to school with...

if i hear one more yelling down the hallway.."obama! obama!" i might punch someone.

sorry for the ranting.

God Bless America.

TAGGGEDDD

i was tagged by Lacy :]]]

TAG U R IT

RULES:
1. Post the rules on your blog.
2. Write 6 random things about yourself.
3. Tag 0-6 people at the end of your post.
4. Pass on the tag.

Here are my 6 random facts:

1)I'm guilty of buying the teenybopper magazines. I LOVE reading them. I would call them a guilty pleasure for sure. Bop, TigerBeat, and M. Greatness :]

2)I have a 42% curvurture in my spine. I probably won't get any taller than I am right now. You should see the XRAY, it's pretty cool.

3)I don't like curse words at all. Sometimes when people say them, it's funny, but usually i don't like it. You just don't sound intelligent when you say them, but people can say things and it's hilarious.

4)They're things about adulthood that scare me, and then things im excited for. I don't want to get older and deal with the real things in life, but that comes closer everyday. I want to just enjoy and relax during these times, while i can.

5)Miley Cyrus isn't smart. I'm not gonna lie, i could have been Hannah Montana. EASY.

6)I could never do haunted house. No way. Since the boy scout one at six flags, never again.

one of the best nights of my life

Friday night will always be remembered. That day was the day that all Mansfield High students have been waiting for. The Mansfield vs. Summit game. Here's some background. Mansfield High School split into two different schools seven years ago. Mansfield High School and Mansfield Summit Highschool. Ever since then, Summit has beaten us in football. Always. Either have killed us, or like last year it was close, but still lost. This year was different, and I got to be on the field. We BEAT SUMMIT! We were freaking out. Our whole school sitting on the visitor side like we were last year just screaming. We filled up the whole visitor side, easy.
I still can't believe we won. For sure, tears were shed. I will never forget it. It was one of those infinate moments.

money well spent

Today I went to Wal-Mart to get black tights for the pep rally at my school tomorrow. Parker was with me and surprisingly having a good time...then...I come across the best poster..ever... I had to buy it and I did. It's beautiful...Now..I just don't know where its going to go..I think i want to put it in a frame, but not sure yet.

Also..on the way out of Wal-Mart, Parker tells me that he's reading this book...here's how the conversation went down:

Parker: "Yeah, I'm reading this book about this sophomore in highschool gets his girlfriend pregnant and he has to take care of him by himself and stuff and his girlfriend is a real jerk."
Me:"What?! Why are you reading this?!"
Parker: "It was in the library...It's good so far."

WHAT?!
I keep forgetting he's in middle school...where it all begins.

Anyways. I hope you have had a blessed week and hopefully you will have a blessed weekend!

A.K.A.

I have been too busy for a sixteen year old. This is ridiculous.

This past weekend was crazy!
Saturday: Pecan Festival. For those that aren't familiar with Mansfield, Tx, every year we have a festival. All the different companies spend thousands of dollars to promote their business and hand out free stuff. I was working for my dad's company, so I got no free stuff and just little children wanting me to paint dragons and rainbows on their faces. Yes, i was face painting the whole day. Some kids just think that I'm Pablo Picasso or something. Seriously, some kid wanted me to paint like a full on horse, and make their whole face look like a rabbit. Ridiculous. I did get a dollar though from one of the bank booths. That was cool.
Saturday night:
I went to my sister's church called Gateway. It's in Southlake, TX...and for those of you that are on the dot about where celebrities are these days you would know that me and my future husband a.k.a. Nicholas Jonas were in the same city at the same time. It's clearly meant to be. Right? haha. But yeah. Same city. Craziness. I mean i was freaking out after I heard. I wish i would have only known at the time...
Sunday:
I woke up and I was excited, because I was going to Fort Worth with my friend Maggie and we were going to museums. I was pretty excited because 1) I was driving myself 2)I love art museums. So we went to Ft. Worth to the Modern Art Museum and the Kimbell Art Museum. It was really interesting. We had loads of fun. This was all for extra credit that we both really need in our AP English class, but it was definitely a fun way to get it. After that it was the COWBOYS GAME. I was really pumped about this, because my Uncle Jimmy has the best seats and he gave us his tickets for this game, even though we lost, it was still fun. The players always look fake.

So, busy weekend...loads of fun.
This weekend will be good too. :]

oh and it was super hero day at school this past friday.
That's me with OPTIMUS PRIME!!!

I've been way busy

I never though i would be this busy during Junior year. It's just annoying, I feel like I can't catch up, but hopefully it will get better. I'm on the bell guard at my school which is like a pep squad and when the team makes points we do how many are on the scoreboard. We won the game 21-48. yes, that is a total of 191 push ups, but by looking at me you can't tell, but you know. haha. CRAZINESS. I seriously was dying after we were done. My little arms just couldn't take it! It was so much fun though. I really enjoy doing bell guard! Today I have to work. I really hope it isnt going to be busy, because it's a saturday, and I'm working it by myself, pray for me. please. haha. Currently I'm listening to NSYNC's Celebrity CD and wow, this one song is really dumb. "Gotta do your thannggg girl."

OOOHHH I am a Taylor Swift fan and her new song is amazing. I know my sister will love it. check out the video on youtube.
